What’s the role of technology in your business?

Technology is a facilitator in our business. Our clients come to us with marketing, product, design & brand needs. Technology is leveraged in a responsible way, our creative skills are developed and designed on a stable IT platform. We build a marketing design for our customers that has to scale for their future needs. So we are future proof, so that our customers don’t worry about technology.

What is the key business challenge that Technology is required to solve?

At Treefrog, we grow and grow and always have to revisit older design decisions on aging infrastructure. What was right back than, doesn’t make sense today. “Proper life cycle management” is the business challenge. Our business is doing things drastically different than 2 years ago and technology needs to continuously support the changes.

Commerx has been your long-time technology partner at Treefrog. Why Commerx? What’s the added value?

Commerx is a technology resource for me. Commerx is solution driven, not sales driven. Commerx presents design and infrastructure options, with consideration of budget that helps me make decisions. Commerx technical resources are a sounding board for me, considering long and short term needs.

What are some of the improvements as a result?

– We spend our budget more efficiently.
– I have peace of mind making decisions – Commerx technical resources ask right questions that give me confidence that they know what they are doing
– When I have a tight timeline or I don’t have resources internally, I use the Commerx team to deploy projects. That is flexible for me. I don’t have to make a new hire and I have a great knowledge resource with Commerx.

How would you describe Commerx with one sentence?

I describe Commerx as our “IT partner” as “qualified tech people” and the Commerx team is a great “knowledge resource”.
